What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a strategic content marketer to help us scale high-impact, search-optimized content that not only ranks but resonates with our target audience. Reporting to the Principal Content Strategist (SEO content lead), this role is an opportunity to drive innovation at the intersection of SEO and editorial excellence. If that excites you, we’d love to connect!
What you’ll be working on
In this role, you’ll manage high-impact SEO content initiatives that drive organic growth, engage key audiences, and support overall business objectives. You’ll combine SEO best practices, editorial excellence, content experimentation, and data-driven insights to shape scalable content strategies that perform in search and engage readers.
Specifically, you’ll:
- Lead SEO content projects from strategy to execution—managing calendars, cross-functional coordination, and operations to deliver high-quality content.
- Develop and test data-informed content strategies using UX insights, search trends, and performance metrics to optimize visibility, clicks, engagement, and outcomes.
- Track and analyze SEO performance, sharing actionable recommendations to improve rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversion.
- Create clear, search-optimized content for formats like blog posts, landing pages, and guides—partnering with subject matter experts to maintain editorial quality.
- Proactively identify and evaluate AI tools (e.g., generative writing assistants, automation platforms) that can streamline workflows and increase team impact.
We’d love to hear from people with
- 5+ years of experience in SEO content strategy or content marketing, with a strong history of driving measurable organic growth and working across teams like design, brand, and research.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your SEO expertise and editorial skills. This can be a website, a presentation deck, or links included in your cover letter.
- A solid understanding of SEO principles, user search behavior, and how to create content aligned with search intent.
- Experience leading content initiatives from ideation to execution, balancing strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable content strategies and communicate insights across teams and leadership.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Amplitude, Tableau, Looker), along with an interest in emerging AI technologies.
- A continuous learning mindset—staying on top of trends in SEO and content marketing, and experimenting with new approaches to drive sustainable growth.
