What we’re looking for
We are looking for an AP Lead to join our Accounts Payable team at SurveyMonkey, the world’s most popular platform for surveys and forms, built for business and loved by users. This candidate will report to the Global AP and T&E Manager. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expenses. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem-solver and a skilled communicator who can serve as the primary point of contact for the offshore team, troubleshoot complex issues, and help enforce best practices. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a seasoned AP professional to play a critical role in optimizing our global AP function.
What you’ll be working on
- Provide daily guidance, support, and oversight to the offshore AP data processing team, acting as a subject matter expert for all day-to-day tasks and inquiries.
- Actively monitor and manage AP queues within Coupa to ensure a smooth flow of invoices and payments to NetSuite, assisting the team with prioritization and workload balancing.
- Serve as a resource for the offshore team on all technical aspects of Coupa, NetSuite, and Navan, providing training and troubleshooting support.
- Collaborate with the offshore team to address and resolve complex vendor inquiries and payment issues.
- Act as a critical liaison between the AP Manager and the offshore team, facilitating clear communication and ensuring team members are aligned on goals and process changes.
We’d love to hear from people with
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a full-cycle Accounts Payable role.
- Proven experience working with and supporting offshore or remote teams is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a role requiring significant problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Coupa: Demonstrated proficiency with the Coupa P2P (Procure-to-Pay) platform, including invoice processing and experience with CoupaPay.
- NetSuite: Solid working knowledge of NetSuite, particularly its AP modules and vendor master data management.
- Navan (formerly TripActions): Familiarity and hands-on experience with Navan for managing expense and travel processing.
