Position Summary:
As a Commercial HVAC/R Installer at Survoy’s, you’ll do more than just mount and configure equipment—you’ll play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You’ll install and upgrade a variety of commercial HVAC/R systems, including complex refrigeration units and ice machines, ensuring each project reflects the high standards we stand for. If you have at least 5 years of commercial HVAC/R experience, a detailed understanding of ice machines, and a desire to work in an environment where your professional development and well-being are priorities, we’d love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities:

Quality Installations:
- Expertly install, retrofit, and upgrade commercial HVAC/R systems—ranging from rooftop units to sophisticated refrigeration setups and ice machines—always maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Adhere to all industry best practices, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols to ensure long-lasting, reliable installations.

Technical Problem-Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve challenges that arise during installations, demonstrating thorough technical knowledge and resourcefulness.
- Apply a deep understanding of HVAC/R principles, electrical components, and refrigeration cycles—especially those specific to ice machines—to deliver exceptional results.

Collaborative Approach:
- Partner closely with project managers, fellow technicians, and support staff, sharing insights and expertise to achieve smooth, on-time project completions.
- Communicate openly and respectfully with team members and customers, ensuring transparency, trust, and satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with commercial HVAC/R installations, including hands-on work with ice machines.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, ventilation, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Relevant industry certifications and EPA licensing.
