Regional Marketing Manager, South Korea (Contractor, 18 Month Term)
Location: Seoul, South Korea (Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in office)
 
MongoDB is transforming how the world innovates with software and data, and we’re looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to help us make an impact in Korea. This is an exciting 18-month contract role, available either as an Independent Contractor or through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement.
In this role, you’ll be at the center of driving marketing and account-based programs for one of the fastest-growing markets in Asia. Working closely with sales, partner, and marketing colleagues, you’ll create programs that engage developers, executives, and decision-makers while fueling growth for MongoDB in Korea. This position reports to the Director of North PacRim Marketing.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partner with sales leaders to design and deliver go-to-market strategies and co-marketing programs.
  • Create localized campaigns, events, and digital programs that generate awareness and accelerate pipeline.
  • Build and execute account-based marketing strategies tailored to strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with global marketing on demand generation, PR, digital, and events to amplify reach.
  • Manage regional budget and optimize partner MDF investments.
  • Measure results rigorously and share insights to refine future activities.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all initiatives and communications.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of field marketing, account-based marketing, or event management experience in the tech sector.
  • A track record of building impactful programs with measurable ROI.
  • Excellent project management skills; comfortable juggling multiple initiatives at once.
  • Strong communicator with full professional proficiency in English (Korean language skills highly preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce, Eloqua, and project management platforms (Wrike a plus).
  • Knowledge of consumption or product-led growth models is a bonus.
  • A collaborative spirit, curiosity, and a positive, can-do mindset.
What Success Looks Like
  • 3 months: Build trust with sales teams, understand top accounts, and start running localized marketing activities.
  • 6 months: Execute impactful campaigns and events that accelerate pipeline and show measurable results.
  • 12 months+: Deliver scalable programs, co-create partner and developer events, and establish MongoDB as a trusted brand across Korea.
