At Sustainable Talent, we build high-performing teams that match our clients' goals and values. We are partnering with a leading global automotive manufacturer to staff a brand-new battery pack assembly plant in Jeffersonville, Indiana. You will establish and champion the plant’s Quality Operating System (QOS) and serve as a key member of the Plant Operating Committee, driving quality strategy, standards, and performance.

You will oversee incoming and supplier quality, lead quality activities for new model launches, and build a strong quality culture through the mentoring and development of plant personnel. Success in this role requires close partnership with plant leadership, cross-functional teams, Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L), and suppliers to drive customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

The role will start remotely, with the expectation that the candidate will later transition to onsite work in Jeffersonville, Indiana. During construction, you may attend onsite meetings or work from a temporary onsite office.

Incoming & Supplier Quality

  • Support problem-solving teams on supplier quality concerns
  • Escalate known supplier issues to future-program planners to prevent repeat customer concerns

  • Review supplier 8D reports and accept or reject them based on content
  • Publish incoming quality data, and share dealer and customer feedback on supplier quality with the right teams
  • Manage recovery of plant costs caused by supplier quality issues

New Model Launch

  • Serve as the plant's quality lead for new model launches, including milestone and scorecard reviews and control plan activities

What You'll Bring
