HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Overview: 

We’re hiring a motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance for residential clients. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy helping customers while also maximizing their earnings through strong sales performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, maintain, and perform light repairs on residential HVAC systems
  • Identify and present repair, replacement, and upgrade options to homeowners
  • Build trust with customers through clear, professional communication
  • Use advanced tools to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety standards and maintain accurate service records

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Residential HVAC experience (service, maintenance, or diagnostics)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to identify and recommend solutions that improve comfort and efficiency
  • Customer interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns with professionalism and courtesy. 
  • Compliance and safety: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. 

Qualifications & Responsibilities: 

  • Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of a relevant HVAC training program or apprenticeship. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician. 
  • Licenses: Valid HVAC technician license and driver’s license. 
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. 
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights; physical stamina and dexterity.

Work Environment: 

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.

Pay Range

$50,000 - $150,000 USD
