Swarm Aero is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the manufacturing and development of advanced UAV and aircraft systems, ensuring high quality and precision in all projects. Your role will include hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of composite and metallic components. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Assemble and fabricate composite and metallic aircraft components and structures according to engineering specifications and drawings. 
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. 
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure components and assemblies meet design specifications and standards. 
  • Assist in the design and construction of prototypes and test fixtures. 
  • Document manufacturing processes and maintain accurate production records. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to improve processes and resolve any technical issues. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. 
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of components and systems, providing detailed feedback and documentation. 

What You’ve Done: 

  • Graduated with an Associate’s degree or Technical Certification in Manufacturing Technology, Aerospace Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field. 
  • Accumulated a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or R&D technician role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry. 
  • Gained hands-on experience with composite and metallic fabrication techniques. 
  • Developed proficiency with manufacturing tools and equipment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. 
  • Acquired familiarity with quality control principles and practices.
