Position Overview
The Puppet Fabrication Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the lifecycle of puppet assets from conception through production. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to track, coordinate, and facilitate the fabrication process, ensuring that all puppet assets meet the studio's high standards and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities

Asset Tracking & Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed records of puppet assets, tracking their progress through various stages of fabrication.

Coordination with Departments: Collaborate with the Director of Technology, Puppet Fabrication Supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of puppet assets into the production pipeline.

Scheduling & Prioritization: Assist in creating and managing fabrication schedules, prioritizing tasks to meet production deadlines.

Quality Control: Ensure that all puppet assets adhere to the studio's quality standards and are suitable for on-screen use.

Communication: Serve as a liaison between the puppet fabrication team and other departments, facilitating clear and effective communication.
Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in a production coordination role, preferably within a creative or film production environment.

Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheet management and asset tracking tools; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tracking and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with puppet fabrication processes and materials.

Software Proficiency: Experience with production management software such as Shotgrid or similar platforms.

Creative Background: Interest or background in animation, puppetry, or related fields.
