- Assist with basic maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility (e.g., replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, replacing filters).
- Serve as a studio hand by helping to move, set up, and organize materials, tools, furniture, film sets and production equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and assist with maintaining a clean and hazard-free workplace.
- Assist with general custodial and janitorial duties, including sweeping, trash removal, and restroom cleaning across studio spaces and offices.
- Support the upkeep of outdoor areas with routine groundskeeping tasks such as litter pickup, light landscaping, and seasonal maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without requiring constant direction.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to day-to-day facility issues (e.g., office repairs, unclog drains, repair drywall, investigate equipment issues)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing production schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Ability to work in an unconditioned space for an extended period of time.

- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, student housing, or other make-ready technician roles where rapid response and multitasking were key.
- Familiarity with basic safety procedures, OSHA standards, and emergency response protocols in a facilities context.
- Knowledge of film studio operations or experience working in creative/production environments is a plus.
- Experience operating and maintaining records for MEWPs and Forklifts is a plus.
- Having experience in estimating costs and creating material lists for construction remedies is a bonus.
