We are looking for a Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Shoreditch office. This role is perfect for early-career and new-grad engineers eager to grow in a collaborative, research-driven environment. You’ll work alongside experts in machine learning and category theory to implement, test, and optimize advanced models.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of machine learning models, including training and optimization.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support research and engineering efforts.

• Assist in building and maintaining pipelines for data processing and model experimentation.

• Collaborate with researchers to prototype theoretical ideas and validate their feasibility.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues in model training and deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and workflows.

• Exposure to functional programming languages (e.g., Haskell, Scala) is a plus.

• Interest in category theory, type theory, or structured reasoning is a bonus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
