    • Communicate with the project team, users, and clients to develop and document requirements.
  • Back-End and Integration
    • Design and implement APIs, application state, and supporting back-end services needed for user-facing features.
    • Design the interface layer to the rest of the back end, including appropriate GraphQL solutions.
    • Contribute to service and back-end architecture decisions for application workflows, data access, and system integration.
    • Design service contracts, data flows, and backend integration patterns.
    • Work across the full request/response path from user interaction through service logic and data access.
    • Integrate front-end applications with supporting services and application back ends.
    • Support containerized application design and deployment where appropriate.
    • Help design, integrate, and implement AI-enabled user interfaces and workflows that allow users to interact effectively with advanced analytics, automation, and decision-support capabilities.
    • Contribute to data visualization, interactive workflows, and complex interface behavior for mission-focused applications.
  • Delivery and Teaming
    • Improve application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability.
    • Optimize applications for speed and responsiveness across a variety of devices and browsers.
    • Support demonstrations, user feedback cycles, iteration, and transition from prototype to deployed capability.
    • Contribute to technical documentation and communicate design and implementation decisions clearly.
    • Assist in the authorship of software documentation such as user training guides.
