About the Job:
The Sr. Associate Manager will be a key contributor to the strategy, insights, and analytics of the Taco Bell Pricing Strategy team, supporting key decisions through a rigorous, data-driven approach. The role will drive impact across the business by identifying actionable pricing insights to support Taco Bell’s ambitious growth goals across its 8,500+ U.S. stores.
With this role, the opportunities to use your strategic and business acumen are endless; you will craft pricing strategies to support ~500 company restaurants, inform our menu strategy, identify testing opportunities to increase pricing efficiency, respond to ad hoc leadership requests, track competitive and macro developments… all in support of optimizing Taco Bell’s pricing strategy. You will report to the Senior Finance Manager who leads Taco Bell’s U.S. pricing strategy and you’ll be part of a fast-paced and dynamic team that partners closely with Marketing and Insights teams. You will also interact with and leverage 3rd party consultants to develop your recommendations and gain additional insights.

The Day-to-Day:
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to identify the impact of pricing on customer behavior and make actionable recommendations to answer questions from the C-suite
- Make ad hoc and proactive pricing recommendations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing actions and elasticities by analyzing restaurant performance, flowthrough, trading relationships, and impact to profit
- Conduct industry, competitive, and customer research to determine optimal price points for existing and new products
- Design and review price tests; analyze natural and quasi-experiments to determine optimal price points
- Find answers to questions that no one is asking yet but that will move the needle
- Champion the data-driven evolution of Taco Bell’s pricing strategy
Is This You?
- BA required; analytical or business degree preferred
- MBA or Masters in quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Analytics) a plus
- Experience with Pricing Strategy/Revenue Management a plus (pricing models, measuring demand elasticity, etc.)
- At least 5+ years of pricing strategy or equivalent experience supporting Finance, Marketing, or Analytics business units
- Creative self-starter and strong technical contributor who is always looking for new opportunities to solve business problems with data-driven tools
- Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking, and proactive mindset
- Resourceful nature with an ability to build business cases through financial models, data, and relevant assumptions to drive action
- Proven experience using data to tell compelling stories (highly proficient in PowerPoint a plus)
- Experience in QSR or other competitive industries a plus

Salary Range: $115,100 - $136,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
