About the Job:
The Taco Bell Foundation Manager, Marketing and Communications is responsible to be primarily tasked with driving proactive brand-building programs for Taco Bell Foundation’s marketing calendar and brand campaign initiatives. In addition, the role is responsible for responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and communications, developing and executing strategies that amplify the Foundation's impact, and building a world-class team to support the strategy execution. This role will be highly collaborative be a strategic and tactical, requiring an agile thinker with strong planning ability, interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for empowering youth, innovative approaches and a proven track record of leadership. This person will be the Head of Marketing and Communications for the Taco Bell Foundation and will serve on our senior leadership team.
The Day-to-Day:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that align with the Foundation's mission, impact, and Roadmap, as well as with the greater Taco Bell parent brand, embodying Taco Bell's "Live Más" philosophy. This includes effectively driving long-term planning, facilitating progress, monitoring/reporting progress, and following up on action items for assigned initiatives.
- Drive digital marketing strategy and execution, including website and email strategy and social media engagement, to reach and engage diverse audiences. This involves establishing and monitoring KPIs, performance metrics, and analytics to measure impact, while embracing Taco Bell's forward-thinking approach to technology and customer engagement.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content such as press releases, emails, social media posts, and annual reports. The goal is to effectively communicate the Foundation's impact and resonate with various audiences, including internal Taco Bell corporate audiences, store level leaders, grant partners, scholars, Franchise communities, and Taco Bell fans, including donors.
- Lead development of and ensure consistent messaging and branding—that is cohesive with the Taco Bell parent brand—across all platforms to increase the Foundation's visibility and reputation, impact.
- Collaborate with leadership, programs, donor relations, and corporate teams to develop engaging event strategies that embody the fun and bold spirit of both the Taco Bell and Foundation brands. Additionally, forge strong partnerships with corporate entities, donors, and community organizations to broaden the Foundation's reach and resources, fostering alignment with Taco Bell's ethos of collaboration and community engagement.
- Oversee the annual planning process for the Foundation’s Marketing/Communications budget while partnering with Development leadership to grow engagement and raise annual gross targets.
- Manage direct report(s) and help oversee the work of junior staff and support external agency partners
Is this you?
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience and coursework
- 8+ years of PR/creative agency or in-house experience
- 2+ years managing direct report(s)
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive engagement, fundraising and growth.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills, with experience in storytelling and content creation that drives meaningful change.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and emerging trends.
- Experience managing earned media and securing press coverage
- Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is a plus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, creative, and adaptable under pressure

Salary Range: $135,000-$150,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
