About the Job:
The Executive Assistant role involves significant interaction with the leadership team and contributes to the organization's operations and culture. The main responsibilities include providing daily support to the Managing Director, International, assisting the International department, and representing the Managing Director and International team both internally and externally. This position requires the ability to handle multiple complex tasks across different geographies, time zones, languages, and cultures, while demonstrating professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
The Day-to-Day:
- Plans and manages all communications for the Managing Director to ensure a smooth flow of work tasks and support while assessing the urgency and importance of the situation to take the appropriate actions.
- This will include:
- Managing incoming materials and data and briefing the Managing Director regarding important issues or conflicts as they arise.
- Preparing various documents including email correspondence, letters, and presentations.
- Assisting with developing and creating PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and other documents as needed.
- This will include:
- Establishes the Managing Director master calendar to coordinate and balance strategy for key meetings, speaking engagements, teaching opportunities, Franchise and Company field visits, and RSC (Restaurant Support Center) interactions. This can include:
- Coordinate executive travel itineraries (including support with travel visa), manage expense reports, and order supplies, services and equipment as needed
- Coordinates and manages important meetings on behalf of the Managing Director such as team meetings, effective quarterly department meetings, direct report meetings, off-sites, and all logistical elements while actively participating.
- Review the department budget spending by tracking and communicating the status with the Managing Director and cost center owners.
- Acts as gatekeeper and liaison on behalf of the Managing Director, by fielding contacts and ensuring that they are handled effectively, efficiently, and with a high level of professionalism.
- Supports fellow Executive Assistants with timely information, calendaring, monthly meetings, and general support as needed. Also serves as liaison with Yum Executive Admins and Brand Admin leaders.
- Plays a key leadership role for the department administrative assistants.
- Responsible for general administrative functions.
Is This You?
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience with at least 5+ years supporting a C-suite Executive, ideally in a large organization.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with booking travel / visa registration and coordination (International Travel a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant computer system applications.
- Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings and travel schedules.
- Superior written and verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Flexibility to work with the Managing Director, which may include working across multiple time zones, occasional overtime, weekends as needed, and travel as necessary, while ensuring coverage of responsibilities.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
