About the Job:

Taco Bell is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager for Korea, based out of Seoul. You will be responsible for executing the marketing calendar and coordinating the marketing activities with our two franchisees partners in the market.  

The main scope includes calendar management, campaign execution, social media and delivery aggregators relationship management and marketing budget.

Reporting to the Senior Manager North Asia lead, this is an individual contributor role who will work closely with Asia marketing team, internal functions (Commercial Planning, restaurant operations, food innovation team, development, etc.), franchisee partners and their local marketing teams, marketing agencies and international marketing teams.

The Day-to-Day:

Calendar Execution:

  • Implement Taco Bell advertising and marketing strategies, aligning them with overall business goals and market trends. 
  • Act as a primary interface with franchisees ensuring marketing calendar execution, supported by regular cadenced and documented engagement plans. 
  • Coordinate with franchisees campaign launches to deliver them on time and in full, ensuring a consistency experience across different franchisees

Creative and Media Development:

  • Work with advertising agencies to develop and execute effective campaigns, primarily focused on social and earned media.
  • Develop and execute social media calendar.
  • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to create engaging social content and optimizing plans to drive organic follower and engagement growth.
  • Support the development of national marketing campaign creative and brand activations ensuring cut through and consistency.
  • Project manage the roll out of national marketing campaigns across paid and owned channels ensuring production cost efficiencies.
  • Monitor brand and media performance.
  • Day to day liaison with creative and media agencies.
  • Develop and execute all customer facing communications in restaurant.

Fund Management:

  • Oversee the allocation and use of advertising funds contributed by franchisees, ensuring efficient and effective deployment. 

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Track the performance of advertising campaigns, analyze results, and make recommendations for improvement. 

Franchisee Management:

  • Act as a representative of Taco Bell and its franchisees, ensuring fair and transparent decision-making. 
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with franchisees, providing regular updates and reports on advertising activities and performance. 

Negotiation and Collaboration:

  • Negotiate with advertising agencies, media outlets and delivery aggregators, fostering strong working relationships. 

Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that all advertising activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. 

Is This You?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar is preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in Korea.
  • Experience working with youth or fast-food brands desirable.
  • Highly creative, organized and proactive with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of advertising strategies, media planning, and brand management, with experience in managing brands with small advertising budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Mandatory fluency in Korean and English languages.
