About the Job:

This role involves driving profitable US growth by developing and executing data-led strategies for market planning, site selection, and new restaurant performance.

The Day-to-Day:

Strategy and Insights

  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic frameworks to fuel US growth - Includes competitive performance, development-related items (site quality, trade area grade, etc.), unit operational performance, as well as other data that drives results.
  • Support Head, Market Planning in the ongoing review of new restaurant incentive structures, profitability analysis, Ownership strategies and generating & communicating meaningful insights with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and track a comprehensive corporate expansion strategy, influencing key stakeholders to prioritize market share growth

Data, Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track new restaurant growth, reinvestment actions, and sales performance
  • Conduct detailed site attribute studies to establish clear principles and guidelines for selecting new restaurant locations.
  • Create and manage large datasets and Power BI dashboards for competitive tracking, franchisee engagement, and new store performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Data-led insights for effective decision making – Investment Committee meetings, RFDM connects, franchisee requests & other cross functional teams
  • Support KFC LT as needed in planning, business reviews, and ad hoc projects.
  • This position offers you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing projects, providing analytical support, and engaging with franchisees on white box market planning.
  • Your role will involve partnering on ownership strategies for franchisee consolidation and corporate expansion.
  • This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of key growth strategies.

Is This You?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree – BA/BS in Real Estate, Finance, Business or related field

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of development, real estate, strategy, or finance experience with demonstrated organizational impact and increasing responsibility in related areas.  Experience in multi-unit restaurant/retail industry preferred.

Skills:

  • Must have strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking, and a desire to have a large commercial impact on the organization. Being a Customer Maniac is a must.
  • Must have proven track record driving results via creative thinking and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task & generate actionable recommendations. Demonstrated track record of strong Project Management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & team skills with ability to present to Senior Leadership.
  • Previous experience with modeling complex business issues in order to influence decisions with a data driven point of view.
  • Clear influencing, communication, and organizational skills are a necessity. Ability to partner well with cross functional departments and work with all levels.
  • Ability to efficiently manage workload well with shifting priorities. Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong system/technical skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with strong/advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.  Knowledge of Power BI, GIS, Alteryx and real estate related tools is a plus as well as experience with dash-boarding/automation of reporting.

Salary Range: ­­ $96,700 - 102,420 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
