About the Job:
The Manager, Facilities & Workplace Experience, is a high-impact strategic and operational leader responsible for delivering the full employee experience at Taco Bell’s Restaurant Support Center (RSC) in Irvine. This isn’t just about managing a building; it’s about creating a workplace that feels energizing, inspiring, and uniquely Taco Bell.
You’ll lead the Workplace Experience team, which brings together facilities management, physical security and safety programs, and employee engagement programs, which are essential to keeping the RSC running smoothly and our bold culture alive. From shaping the future of our physical space through long-term workplace strategy and space planning, to overseeing capital projects, amenities, culture-driving events, and safety operations, you’ll play a central role in what makes the RSC an amazing place to work.
In this role, the opportunities are endless: partner closely with senior leaders, lead innovative projects, and develop a high-performing team, all while creating moments of joy (and maybe a few tacos) for 1,000+ employees. You'll report to the Sr. Director, People & Culture, and directly lead a Facilities Analyst and an Associate Manager, Workplace Experience, and serve as the primary liaison to our dining and catering partners.
The Day-to-Day:
- Strategically lead the Workplace Experience team, which encompasses facilities operations, maintenance management, physical security, safety programs, and employee engagement initiatives that shape the RSC experience.
 - Drive long-term workplace strategic roadmap, including space planning, change management, and future-of-work initiatives aligned to business and culture goals.
 - Oversee facilities operations, capital project execution, vendor partnerships, and lease/budget planning, ensuring efficiency, safety, and scalability across the RSC campus.
 - Partner with dining, catering, and amenity providers to deliver a seamless and high-quality experience for employees and visitors.
 - Coach and develop a team of people leaders, supporting career growth and cross-functional collaboration within a high-performing team environment.
 - Own special projects and cross-functional initiatives, solving for evolving workplace needs through creative, strategic, and operationally sound solutions.
 
Is This You?
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred, or equivalent experience.
 - 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years leading facilities, workplace experience, or related operations in a corporate or campus environment.
 - Highly skilled at cross-functional leadership and vendor partnerships, with experience influencing executive stakeholders and presenting strategic proposals.
 - Expertise in space planning, capital projects, change management, and budget/lease oversight, with strong knowledge of commercial facilities and employee experience trends
 - Strong organizational and operational planning skills, with a track record of delivering both short-term execution and long-term transformation.
 - Proven ability to lead people and processes, including developing team capability, setting strategic direction, and owning performance standards across functions.

Salary Range: $137,000 to $145,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
