About the Job:
The VP, Brand Product Marketing will lead and develop a team of talented product marketers that span our product portfolio, driving our product and go-to-market strategy. This role is pivotal in developing the key themes and stories that will help our customers understand the value our products deliver across innovation, value and emerging category entry points. The role will take these themes and work across marketing to develop impactful campaigns and associated assets that will enhance customer awareness, education, and acquisition to deliver on the magic formula for the business. Beyond customer acquisition, you will guide our customers to value and adoption across our capabilities.
You will be a close partner to our sales and food innovation teams, collaborating to develop products, pricing, and experiences that attract and retain consumers. This role provides vision, leadership, and accountability for brand and product, driving the US marketing sales calendar for a $17 billion-dollar business. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and leads a team of talented- brand, product and consumer insights professionals.
The Day-to-Day:
- Coach, Inspire and Guide a team of brilliant marketing professionals in their development and nurturing the company and marketing culture motivating the team for high impact and engagement
- Provide thought leadership on marketing strategy, menu strategy and calendar via synthesized marketing insights across range of sources & inputs
- Lead and inspire teams, author and evangelize product marketing strategy, projects and vision, to establish Taco Bell in the hearts and minds of global communities to Live Mas
- Deliver National and Test Product calendars in collaboration with brand marketing, digital marketing & cross-functional teams (finance, operations, product development and supply chain)
- Drive commercial planning of annual product calendar and numerous experiences/campaigns to ensure brand and business goals can be achieved and executed across 7000+ predominately franchise owned restaurants
- Lead a team of consumer insight and analysis professional to deliver on deep understanding of consumer and marketing trends, competition, retail landscape, and cultural drivers affecting business dynamics.
- Develop compelling, marketable category concepts, stories, and product vision. Ensure key insights are obtained and incorporated into briefing process. Accountable for developing and tracking KPIs to measure product performance.
- Analyze and prepare category business performance reports
- Responsible for product presentations senior executives, presenting to our franchisees to gain alignment and drive engagement with franchisee partners
- Partner with Franchise Marketing committee to ensure calendar alignment and execution
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to design, streamline, and optimize processes and workflows to ensure quality of entire commercialization process
Is This You?
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in product, product marketing, or brand management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership or management position
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred
- Success in launching and scaling mass-market consumer products or services that both drive the business and strengthen the brand.
- Proven ability to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to drive data-driven recommendations and decision-making.
- Experience creating integrated marketing plans to support product launch and expansion efforts.
- Experience working with marketing channel owners to shape marketing strategy and drive tactical execution.
- Executive level communication skills.
- Ability to confidently analyze business results and report performance to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence others to get things done in a timely fashion; balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines.

Salary Range: $257,900 to $303,200 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
