Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and story-driven Video Editor to join our creative roster. The ideal candidate is a “full-stack” editor who can move seamlessly from the initial rough cut to the final high-polish finish on a wide variety of content types from social reels to long-form narratives. This role will also be involved at a strategic level in the ideation and development of marketing campaigns as well as entertaining content. While this is primarily a post-production role, the ability to operate a camera and assist with production captures is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Create video content for hunt brands, aligning creative across all platforms (digital ads, social media, etc).
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality across a variety of content types (Long form, short form, social, linear TV, narrative, etc)
- Execute on-location production tasks as needed, including camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording to ensure high-quality raw assets.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams as a whole to bring campaigns to life—fusing elevated storytelling with best-in-class digital commerce and design
- Translate marketing, creative, and strategic objectives into branded assets that drive prospective and customer engagement, adapting to different channels.
- Follow brand standards and actively help develop graphic standards working closely withthe design team.
- Participate in brainstorming and research for content and campaign execution.
- Ensure all work is of the highest quality, reflects brand standards, and is delivered on time.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, refine drafts, and generate creative concepts.
- Stay current with new innovations, industry developments, and social media trends.
- Use data and analytics to guide design decisions.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of editing experience.
- Maintain a digital portfolio of past work demonstrating performance creative as well as storytelling ability.
- Have experience with social media.
- Be proficient with video editing and 2D motion graphics.
- Be proficient in Premiere Pro.
- Experience in the hunting/outdoors industry.
- Experience with After Effects preferred.
