Job Overview:

An Account Executive (AE) in the 4G cellular security camera space drives new
business by selling hardware and recurring cellular data subscriptions to mid-market
and enterprise clients. This role focuses on hunting for new B2B accounts across off-
grid industries like construction, property management, agriculture, and critical
infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and close new business
    opportunities within the assigned territory to meet or exceed monthly and
    quarterly revenue quotas.
  • Solution Selling: Pitch the combined value of physical IoT hardware and
    recurring monthly cellular data packages to technical and commercial buyers.
    Product Demonstrations: Conduct virtual and on-site product demonstrations
    showcasing 4G-LTE connectivity, solar integration, and cloud-based video
    management software
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active, high-volume sales pipeline from
    initial cold outreach through to contract negotiation and final signatures using
    CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot)
  • Account Handoff: Partner with Customer Success and Technical Support teams
    to ensure seamless deployment and onboarding for new clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of successful B2B closing experience, preferably in
    SaaS, IoT hardware, telecommunications, or physical security systems.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to comfortably explain cellular network requirements
    (4G-LTE/5G), cloud storage, motion analytics, and solar power constraints to
    non-technical clients.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of managing full-cycle sales processes,
    handling objections, and closing deals with mid-level managers and C-level
    executives.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% within the territory for client visits, site
    evaluations, and regional industry trade shows.
