
Manager, HR Operations
At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.
Position Summary
The HR Operations Manager leads the Tactile HR Service Center and the HR Operations team of three to support the employee experience. Oversees first level support of employee HR questions. Provides guidance and resources on many HR functions that include leave administration, employment regulations, onboarding/offboarding, triaging issues and coordinating timely responses with HR colleagues. Consults with HR Business Partners and leaders as needed. Provides oversight of policy updates and workflow improvements. This position will also play a strategic role in managing HR projects for the team and teaming with HR Business Partners. Leverages technology and HR systems to enhance service offerings and resources for employees.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Leads the HR Service Center operations ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Leave management and ADA case coordination, in partnership with external leave vendor and HR colleagues.
- Possesses knowledge of applicable HR laws that reduce legal risk and ensure compliance. Partners with employment law counsel and leverages resources to help manage risk.
- Collaborates with leaders, HR Business Partners, HR team and employees positively to ensure we provide a great employee experience.
- Operate strategically and have a hands-on approach, must be comfortable working in the details and quickly acclimate to a strategic level.
- Project management for various HR projects with a focus on improving the employee experience and HR efficiency.
- Partner with HRIS Manager and others on leveraging technology looking for ways to improve, enhance and streamline HR processes.
- Monitors and drives metrics related to service levels, enhancing workflows and process documentation.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or human resource; experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 8+ years related experience in human resources function with leave management and generalist experience preferred
- Superuser experience with HRIS systems, experience with UKG preferred
- Working knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Proficiency in core Microsoft Office components, especially Excel
- Some knowledge of AI, curiosity to learn and apply AI

- Vendor management experience
- High degree of technical aptitude and problem solving skills

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
US Pay Range
$93,600 - $130,000 USD
