Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Analytics Engineer who thrives in fast-moving, high-complexity environments and enjoys bringing clarity to ambiguity. You’ll join a growing data team with many open, high-impact challenges across billing, finance, product, GTM, and business operations.

You’re someone who asks thoughtful questions, goes deep to understand how things work, and loves transforming loosely defined user problems into scalable, reliable data solutions. You’re not afraid to challenge assumptions, rethink processes, or dive into complex systems. You help teams work better through clean models, automated workflows, and simple, trustworthy data.

This role is ideal for someone with solid experience delivering production grade analytics engineering work who is excited to take on broader ownership and grow their scope over time as the team expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across Finance, Engineering, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to uncover their workflows, challenges, and data needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt models and data pipelines supporting financial reporting (ARR, billing, revenue recognition) as well as operational, product, and GTM analytics.
  • Tackle ambiguous, high-complexity problems, untangling systems, manual processes, and unclear logic to produce clear, durable data solutions.
  • Translate user challenges and incomplete requirements into structured data models, automated workflows, and end-to-end solutions.
  • While building towards automation, understanding the user needs to process manual tasks.
  • Own solutions from ingestion to transformation to data quality, documentation, and stakeholder enablement.
  • Connect data and logic across domains, identifying how systems relate and surfacing opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate.
  • Advocate for high standards in data quality, clarity, documentation, and maintainability.

What We Are Looking For

  • You have delivered production data models and pipelines that power real business decisions.
  • You operate autonomously and make thoughtful tradeoffs in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re skilled in SQL and modern data modeling, and you write clean, maintainable, well-organized code.
  • A track record of converting manual, ad hoc workflows into automated, durable pipelines or self-service solutions.
  • You can take a vague problem, ask the right questions, and turn it into a clear technical plan and high-quality solution.
  • You work well with both technical and non-technical partners, helping teams clarify their needs, understand tradeoffs, and driving alignment.
  • You’re a generalist who enjoys learning new domains and solving a wide range of challenges from Finance to Product to GTM.
  • You are curious, resourceful, and comfortable challenging assumptions thoughtfully and advocating for approaches that improve scalability and data quality.
  • You enjoy untangling complexity and turning chaos into clarity.
  • You care about building simple, transparent, robust data foundations.
  • You think in terms of systems and scalability, not one-off fixes, and are able to weigh in trade-offs and build systems to solve problems as needed.
  • You’re motivated by helping teams work more effectively through data.
  • You’re team-oriented, collaborative, and communicate with clarity.
  • You’re excited to grow your impact and take on increasing ownership as the team expands.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high-growth product-led SaaS company
  • Familiarity with billing systems, revenue recognition, GAAP accounting, or financial operations
  • Experience partnering with Finance and accounting during month-end/quarter-end cycles
  • Exposure to Stripe, Salesforce, Looker, or other financial and GTM systems

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
