DC Controller : Inbound - M24 Logistics

M24 Logistics, a division of the Takealot Group, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced DC Controller: Inbound to join our Cape Town team. We are a renowned e-commerce logistics partner specialising in B2B and B2C warehousing and fulfilment solutions to the local and African markets.

This position will report to the Operational DC Manager.

Role overview

The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and accurate processing of inbound deliveries within our Distribution Center (DC).

The requirements for the role are:

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Proven track record managing inbound logistics or similar roles. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage all activities related to inbound deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and transport teams to ensure timely and accurate reception of stock.
• Verify that incoming shipments match purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Conduct quality checks on inbound goods and report discrepancies or damaged stock promptly.
• Accurately capture and update stock records on the warehouse management system.
• Monitor and optimize unloading processes to meet warehouse KPIs and SLAs.
• Ensure that all inbound activities are aligned with warehouse operational standards and safety protocols.
• Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other controllers to ensure seamless inbound operations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve any issues related to inbound logistics.
• Maintain records of all inbound transactions and provide regular reports to the warehouse management team.
• Proactively flag delays, discrepancies, or inefficiencies to drive continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines (SLAs).
