The Challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Insights & Data Automation team. This unique role blends data engineering expertise with data analysis and product management responsibilities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and delivering high-quality data solutions that power our marketing efforts. You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that our data infrastructure supports the evolving needs of the marketing organization.

 

What You’ll Take On

Solution Delivery & Data Engineering:

  • Design, develop, and maintain performant & scalable data pipelines using cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, DataBricks etc.)
  • Develop and implement data integration solutions for various data sources, including CRM, Social and Ad Platforms to our Reporting Platforms.
  • Write high-quality, well-documented, and maintainable code using industry standard CI/CD flows.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers and Architects to optimize data models and improve data delivery performance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.
     

Data Automation & Efficiency:

  • Drive the automation of reporting and analysis processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity for our customers.

 

Data Insights:

  • Support data-driven decision-making across all marketing channels (Paid, Owned and Earned).
  • Design and surface advanced metrics for our Marketing teams to drive optimisation.

 

Project Manager:

  • Plan and execute projects, ensuring they are delivered on time.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve roadblocks.
  • Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders.

 

Product Owner:

  • Define and prioritize product backlog items related to delivery of high value projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.
  • Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance and exit criteria.
  • Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to continuous team improvement.
  • Ensure that product deliverables meet the needs of the business.

 

Product Manager:

  • Define and track KPIs for delivered solutions.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the value of delivered solutions so that we can share with management and senior leadership the impact of our solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap for the Marketing Intelligence team.

 

What You Bring 

Technical:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-6+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and other relevant data analysis tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g.,, AWS, Azure, Databricks, GCP).
  • Experience with data visualization / analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).

 

Management:

  • Excellent organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) preferred.
  • Experience with product management principles and methodologies a plus.
  • Comfortable with nurturing and teaching younger team members would be a plus.
  • Curiosity in new tools and leveraging AI where appropriate.
