The Challenge

We are looking for a driven and professional individual who is early in their finance career to join our Finance Department at Take-Two Interactive. You will work closely with all areas of the business in order to maintain control of the fixed asset accounting for International and US.

As a member of the team the Junior Financial Accountant will contribute to the overall success of the department and help in developing all areas of the Group Function.

 

What You’ll Take On

Fixed Assets

  • Control of fixed asset accounting for International and US entities , ensuring that all additions are accounted for in accordance with company policy and US GAAP
  • Ensuring that depreciation is accounted for correctly and in accordance with company accounting policies
  • Maintain regular reporting
  • Adhoc tax analysis as needed

 

Intercompany

  • Assisting management with intercompany function
  • Consistently maintaining up to date intercompany reconciliations for review
  • Prepare and review all manual, recurring, and inter-company journal entries to ensure that accruals, prepayments depreciation, allocations, and transfer of costs are correct in accordance with GAAP and properly supported
  • Liaise with intercompany counterparts globally

 

Internal/External Reporting (for All entities)

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with US GAAP and internal deadlines
  • Support the team through the monthly close cycle, in particular assisting in producing accurate month end financials
  • Prepare monthly Reconciliations
  • Generating and analysing departmental financial reports

 

Adhoc

  • Contribute in the audit process at quarter and year end
  • Ensuring GL JDE integrity for all entities.
  • Ensure compliance with Company SOX controls requirements.

 

Financial Systems

  • Evaluate operational and financial risks for group companies and establish mitigating controls;
  • Drive necessary changes in systems for reporting needs; and
  • Flag system issues early and follow through to resolution.

 

What You Bring

  • Part qualified Accountant or a degree in accounting/related field
  • Good knowledge in accounting software
  • Ability to deliver accurately and within tight deadlines;
  • A basic knowledge in key accounting concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good communicator;
  • Ambitious, proactive, self starter with ability to grow in this role and take on increased responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Hard working and able to work under pressure especially during peak periods
  • Actively seeks out opportunities to ‘add value’.

This role requires you to come in to our London office four days a week, Monday to Thursday.
