Talent Acquisition Intern - January 2026
Do you want to become part of the Hunter Douglas DREAM?
We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Early Careers Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team on a 6 month internship, starting in January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about recruitment, people, and early careers development to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive HR environment.
You’ll play a key role in helping us attract, assess, and onboard the next generation of talent – from interns to graduates and MBA candidates. Working closely with our Head of EVP and Engagement and Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll be involved in everything from coordinating assessment days to supporting day-to-day recruitment administration.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of early careers recruitment campaigns, including internships, graduate programmes, and MBA hiring.
- Support the attraction process by posting roles, reviewing applications, and shortlisting candidates under guidance from the Talent Acquisition team.
- Help organise and attend graduate assessment days and interviews, ensuring a professional and welcoming candidate experience.
- Coordinate logistics such as managing schedules, preparing candidate packs, and liaising with assessors and interviewers.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for the next intern and trainee cohorts.
- Maintain accurate candidate and vacancy records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and shared databases.
- Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection standards in all activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently studying towards a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in recruitment, talent management, and early careers development.
- Prior experience in an office or HR/recruitment environment (including part-time work or internships) is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in engaging with candidates and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when managing candidate information.
- Competent in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams).
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills.
- A team player with a professional, approachable manner
Why Join Us?
- Gain valuable experience in early careers recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Work in a supportive HR team that encourages learning and development.
- Opportunity to make a real impact on how we attract and nurture future talent.
- Exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes, candidate experience, and employer branding.
