The Role 

As an FP&A Intern, you will support the Division FP&A team in day-to-day financial planning and analysis activities. You will gain hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis, while contributing to key initiatives. This internship will begin in early July 2026, and there are two positions available. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, an interest in finance, and a passion for improving processes through data and automation.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support budget preparation and financial consolidation, including automation improvements  

• Assist in developing forecasting models to enhance planning accuracy  

• Perform variance analysis and create dashboards to monitor financial performance  

• Collaborate with finance teams to streamline data collection and reporting workflows  

• Provide insights and recommendations to support financial decision-making  

• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and data accuracy  

 

Who You Are 

• Currently pursuing an HBO, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field  

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail  

• Proficient in Excel; experience with financial modeling, Power BI, or SQL is a plus  

• Interested in financial planning, data analysis, and business performance

• Ability to work with complex data and generate meaningful insights  

• Structured thinking with a focus on improving processes  

• Able to clearly present financial insights  

• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams  

• Self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks  

• Fluency in English; Dutch is a big plus

De Rol

Jouw Verantwoordelijkheden 

• Ondersteunen bij budgetvoorbereiding en financiële consolidatie, inclusief automatiseringsverbeteringen  

• Assisteren bij het ontwikkelen van forecastmodellen om de planningsnauwkeurigheid te verbeteren  

• Uitvoeren van variantie-analyses en opstellen van dashboards om financiële prestaties te monitoren  

• Samenwerken met finance teams om dataverzameling en rapportageprocessen te optimaliseren  

• Inzichten en aanbevelingen leveren ter ondersteuning van financiële besluitvorming 

• Bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen en automatiseringsinitiatieven om efficiëntie en datakwaliteit te verhogen  

 

Wie Ben Jij? 

• Je volgt een HBO, Bachelor- of Masteropleiding in Finance, Economie, Business Analytics of een vergelijkbare studie  

• Je hebt een sterk analytisch denkvermogen en oog voor detail  

• Je bent vaardig in Excel; ervaring met financial modelling, Power BI of SQL is een pré 

• Je hebt interesse in financial planning, data analysis en business performance
