We are constantly seeking the highest calibre of candidates who are bright, hard-working, and eager to make a difference in a sociable and fast paced consultancy. You'll also be/have:
- Predicted or achieved a 2:1 or above from any university and in any discipline
- Have a genuine interest in consulting and the asset & wealth management industry
- Be highly ambitious and proactive, with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Have strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
- Willingness to be part of a team which enjoys working hard and socialising together
- An interest in assisting with one or more areas of business management

What you’ll be doing - AWM Consulting
- Gaining immediate hands-on experience and skills by working directly with various management teams across the world’s largest asset managers.
- Collaborating with senior executives in the global asset management industry to solve complex challenges.
- Engaging directly with clients, building financial models and taking on increasing responsibility for career growth.
- Contributing towards internal projects, including our Benchmarking practice and helping to build out our sales decks and propositions.
- Attending client meetings, documenting requirements, preparing client proposal presentations, and engaging in creative problem solving with Alpha colleagues.
What you'll be doing - Technology Consulting
- Developing technological solutions to client problems, contributing to high-quality project delivery and building your experience in the industry.
- Gaining industry experience while being supported by Alpha's architectural experts across the asset and wealth management industry.
- Contributing to a team delivering a strategic transformation, a new technology implementation, or a critical platform extension to an existing platform.
- Participating in projects ranging from a few weeks to multi-year programs, consistently applying Alpha's deep expertise in strategy and execution.
- Helping to coordinate transformation projects for leading global asset and wealth management companies such as Morgan Stanley, HSBC and Barclays Wealth.
What we offer you
Training and development: New Analysts starting are provided with a developmental three-week ‘Alpha Analyst Training Programme’ that will ensure that you master key tools like Excel and PowerPoint, develop crucial soft skills, and learn core consulting techniques (preparing a cost model, producing deliverables, managing stakeholders). We’ll also fund & support you to obtain your Investment Management Certification (IMC) and Prince II Agile qualifications. We're committed to your growth, providing continuous support throughout the program.
Variety: We want our people to have the opportunity to work on projects across a range of practice areas, with our projects varying in length from a few weeks to around 18 months. You’ll be a key team member from day one, working on-site with clients or in our Alpha office.
