The Role:
As a Salesforce QA Engineer you’ll provide quality assurance on all of our Salesforce apps, solutions and implementations. You'll be responsible for providing end to end salesforce testing for all aspects of Salesforce including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Component, Community/Experience Cloud development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions.The Salesforce QA Engineer is a critical team member who will help ensure that a solution fits the business needs. The Salesforce QA Engineer will work closely with the project team to review the overall requirements, develop test plans/cases, identify defects and push them to resolution, and contribute to successfully launching resulting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that the Salesforce platform operates within defined requirements.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts across Salesforce applications.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Validate new functionality, APIs, workflows, integrations, and UI/UX elements for compliance and reliability..
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
- In-depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are “fit-for-purpose” through end-to-end functional and automation testing.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure regression coverage and speed up delivery cycles.
- Collaborate closely with product owners,developers and stakeholder teams to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure Salesforce platform configurations align with quality and security standards.
- Maintain detailed test documentation and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Conduct UAT and Track KPIs related to test coverage, defect rates, and release stability.
Qualifications and Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 5 -8 years of work experience in Quality Assurance roles with automation testing experience in Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ environments.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Provar,Selenium or ACCELQ,
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience testing APIs, integrations, and cloud-native environments.
- Knowledge of testing integrations, and end-to-end system processes.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
