Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research key target accounts and contacts
  • Input key accounts into Salesforce for strategic outreach
  • Strategize with the Sales Development and Account Executive teams to identify additional targets
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings with the Sales Development and Account Executive teams
  • Internalize the Talkdesk mission and vision
  • Prospect, identify, and research company leads and contacts that fit Talkdesk's ideal customer profile.
  • Make initial contact with potential customers to determine the interest, budget, and authority to advance the sales process. 
  • Participate in regular company and office meetings to share progress, identify blockers and drive resolution
  • Identify and understand customer business needs, pain points, and opportunities, and develop solutions that drive value and growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that demonstrate the company's value proposition
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing directly and/or with partners and customers, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable for both the customer and the company
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activity to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and solutions, and be able to articulate the value proposition to customers
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast accurately to ensure the achievement of revenue targets
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company's CRM system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Salesforce Experience preferred
  • Experience in software or technology sales is strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated with a receptive and coachable mindset
  • Experience working with a team
  • Highly organized professional with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work in an open office environment and to provide and receive feedback professionally
  • Desire for continuous learning, improvement and overall career growth
  • Results-oriented sales professional with a strong hunter mentality and proven negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Language skills required: Brazilian Portuguese, English and preferred Spanish. 

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
