Job Title: Risk Report Developer (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits

Your Impact: Building a greener tomorrow

As a Risk Report Developer at Tandem your focus will be to:

• Support the Consumer Duty team in analysing customer journeys across various products.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports to provide insightful data visualization.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and challenges.
• Present and distribute data-driven insights to colleagues across different business areas.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and integrate missing data where necessary. 

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, creating and maintaining reports and semantic models
• Strong SQL skills
• Advanced analytical software experience, including advanced understanding of Excel formulas and charts, PowerQuery, and SQL Server Management Studio
• Strong attention to detail with a good level of mathematical knowledge
• Experience of working in business analysis, data analysis or a related field.
• Direct commercial knowledge of any of the following Lending Portfolios:
  • Home Improvement Lending,
  • Motor Finance Lending,
  • 1^st or 2^nd Charge Mortgages
  • Personal Loans
• Ability to create, adapt and present new insights and views based on own understanding and feedback from stakeholders   

It would be great, but not essential if you have:

• Understanding of Tandem’s Data Warehouse structure
• STEM, Finance or Economics related qualifications – A level or higher
• Other software programming languages
• Experience working with TimeScaleDB
• Experience working with DBT
