HR Administrator
Job Title: HR Administrator
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £23,015.85 and up to 20% bonus and benefits
Location: Hybrid working from our Blackpool Office (FY4 2FB, free parking)

The HR Administrator is responsible for providing professional and effective administration support to the HR team. They will work closely with the Senior HR Administrator to ensure all areas of administration within the team is maintained in line with GDPR.
The post holder will own the onboarding and offboarding process for the Bank ensuring it is executed in line with Company policy and best practice whilst also supporting key HR processes including payroll and supporting the HR team with employee relations activity including; absence management, note taking, family leave requests.

Your Impact: Building a greener tomorrow
As a HR Administrator at Tandem your focus will be on:
- First point of contact for the HR team and general employee queries.
- Management of HR inbox, flagging for the relevant HR member. Filing emails in the correct folders.
- Effective us of HR system, ensuring data is reviewed regularly and is up to date.
- Utilise HR system to provide employee data to key stakeholders.
- Administering onboarding of employees, ensuring it is line with company process and flagging any improvement opportunities to the HR/Recruitment teams.
- Administering offboarding for employees, ensuring it is in line with company process and liaising with key stakeholders e.g IT.
- General admin duties including but not limited to employment references, regulatory references, note taking in formal meeting, arranging meetings.
- Support the HR team with employee relations queries ensuring response is in line with Company policies and process.
- Support in the management of Reward Gateway including data imports.
- Ensure the language of all communications e.g letters is professional, consistent and in line with Tandem’s brand.
- Preparing payroll for the Bank on a monthly basis.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when managing sensitive information such as salary details, absence records, disciplinary records.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience of administration including using office 365
- Ability to prioritize your own workload, work autonomously and use your initiative to solve problems
- Hands on approach
- Good attention to detail
- A focus on good customer service
- Agile, has the ability to deal with multiple queries
It would be great, but not essential if you have:
- Experience of working in HR administration
- Some knowledge of Data protection and/or FCA regulations would be an advantage
