Delivery Manager/Project Manager

Job Title: Delivery Manager 
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 17.00 
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits 
Location: Flexible – Embrace fully UK remote or hybrid work from any of our vibrant UK offices in London, Cardiff, Durham or Blackpool.

The main purpose of the role is to help guide one or more of the Change teams within Tandem’s Digital Organisation. These teams are highly skilled, multi-disciplinary and focused on delivering key outcomes relating to Tandem’s customer proposition. You will be adept at delivering complex digital products, able to identify issues, be determined to remove blockers, and able to work at all levels of detail when required.

The Technology Team is one of the largest teams in Tandem and they are at the heart of driving the Bank’s Change Portfolio as well as running all the Technology services for the Bank. The team consists of the usual people you expect in a Tech Team; engineers, developers, testers but it also has systems, data and business analysts as well as delivery managers that oversee how we deliver Change. We are a hard-working team, all keen to make a lasting impact for Tandem and its customers.  
  
Your Impact: Building a greener tomorrow  

As a Delivery/Project Manager at Tandem your focus will be on: 

• Manage overall plan for delivery   
• Manage and report internal and external dependencies and assumptions   
• Resolve cross-functional issues at Initiative level  
• Manage initiative scope and resources to support delivery and Early Life Support period  
• Work with wider organisation for sign off and handover to Operations    
• Estimate, manage and report initiative finances  
• Monitor and report initiative progress and performance   
• Remove and manage internal and external blockers or impediments   
• Manage and report initiative issues and risks  
• Provide status reports to the Head of Delivery, initiative Sponsor and other stakeholders  
• Ensure information available for cross-programme status evaluation   
• Along with Head of Delivery ensure alignment with Mission / Bank objectives   
• Manage operational relationships with suppliers, where necessary   
• Accountable for the initiative success and meeting agreed budget

• Passionate about technology products and building technology systems. 
• Interested and experienced in product management, project management, agile methodologies, lean product development and modern engineering practices. 
• Experience delivering digital products/projects as part of an agile team. 
• Interested in the Fintech space.
