Job Title: Administrator (Mortgages)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week working shifts between 8am-7pm (ie. 8-4, 9-5, 10-6 or 11-7)
Salary: £23,500 and up to 20% bonus and benefits
Location: 5 days a week in our Blackpool office (Postcode: FY4 2FB, free parking)

The main purpose of the role is to ensure all aspects of administration are carried out with care and attention to detail, adhering to the appropriate policies, procedures and government legislation. The job holder will be required to comply with the individual conduct rules and meet the Company’s fit and proper standards, which will be assessed on a regular basis.

Your Impact: Building a sustainable tomorrow

As an Administrator in Mortgages at Tandem your focus will be on:

• Checking that intermediaries meet the criteria for submitting mortgage applications to Tandem 
• Flexible approach to ad hoc tasks 
• Manage internal admin system 
• Conduct internal and external phone calls and manage relevant 
• Ensure all system generated letters are sent daily 
• Filing, retrieving, and correctly storing away and scanning (DMS) documents on to accounts 
• Accountability for individual performance and contribution to achieve KPI’s set by the business. 
• Ownership of individual performance and personal

• Excellent attention to detail and desire to provide excellent customer service 
• Good IT skills and comfortable using various systems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills 
• Good organisational and time management skills 
• The ability to work on your own initiative 
• Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines 

 

It would be great, but not essential if you have:

• Good understanding of the regulations which we work within
