Treasury Operations Analyst
The Basics:
We're looking for a motivated Treasury Operations Analyst to join our Treasury team. This is an entry-level role, ideal for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional, offering hands-on exposure to cash management, bank reconciliations, and liquidity operations. You'll work closely with our Treasury Manager and finance staff, building a strong foundation in corporate treasury while contributing to the day-to-day operations that keep the business running smoothly. This role is hybrid, with in-office days each week and the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.
This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Emeryville, CA
What you’ll do:
- Assist with monitoring daily cash positions and bank balances across accounts and entities, including researching payment-related reconciling items
- Process wire transfers and intercompany transactions
- Work with Accounts Payable team for vendor payments tracking and funding requirements
- Work with Payroll team for global payroll tracking and funding requirements
- Support investment activity and FX transactions
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly treasury reporting
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls, banking requirements, and audit requests
- Maintain Company credit card programs (executive, corporate, employee travel)
- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and external banking partners on ad-hoc requests
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual treasury processes
- Embrace and leverage AI tools to drive process and reporting efficiencies / optimization.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance (internships count)
- Strong Excel skills; comfortable working with large data sets and reconciliations
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and comfortable asking questions
- Familiarity with NetSuite (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with AI tools (preferred but not required)

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $115,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
