About this role
Ensures the integrity of the company’s financial records by coding, entering and reconciling financial transactions.

What You'll Do
•    Records company’s financial transactions as incurred.
•    Prepare reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, including reconciling of subledgers.
•    Review monthly income statement transactions to ensure proper classification.
•    Ensure that payroll is performed on a bi-weekly basis and all local, state and federal payroll requirements are followed.
•    Ensure that vendor invoices are approved, recorded and paid on a timely basis.
•    Perform invoicing and collection activities to ensure that the company is billing clients for work performed and receiving payment timely.

•    Review work process on a regular basis and recommend changes to increase efficiency and/or accuracy.
•    Stay current on accounting regulations.
•    Provide assistance as needed with the annual audit and any interim work performed by the auditors.
•    Assist in the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements with functional budgets including variance analysis.
•    Interact with all levels of staff throughout the organization to ensure that workflows remain efficient.
•    Ensure that local, state and federal filing requirements are met.
•    Assist in the implementation of new processes or systems.


What You'll Bring
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA not required.
•    5-7+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
•    Strong Excel skills required. Ability to thoroughly analyse and research information. 
•    Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures The ability to perform reconciliations and transactions without supervision. 
•    Must be detail-and deadline-oriented.
