This role is hybrid requiring 2 days in office per week.
About the Role
As a Partner Development Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving growth by identifying, developing, and closing partnership opportunities. You will manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to close—for our Taskrabbit and Dolly brands, focusing primarily on retail partners. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, you'll be instrumental in building our partnership pipeline and expanding our market reach.
What You'll Work On
You are a proactive, results-driven sales professional who thrives in generating and pursuing new opportunities. You enjoy initiating conversations, overcoming objections, and building meaningful relationships with partners, and you’re energized by the prospect of partnering closely with our Product team to bring new offerings to market. Prior experience in retail, or marketplace businesses gives you a unique perspective on partner needs and challenges.
- Source and qualify new partnership opportunities through targeted outreach and networking
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach to deal closure, effectively negotiating terms and contract details.
- Clearly articulate Taskrabbit’s value proposition to prospective partners, aligning our services with their business needs and strategic goals
- Work closely with Partner Managers to seamlessly transition new partnerships, ensuring a smooth onboarding and launch.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure Taskrabbit consistently meets or exceeds partner expectations
- Share insights with the broader Business Development team, contributing actively to strategy development and execution
- Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and positioning.
Your Areas of Expertise
- 4+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
- Demonstrated success with lead generation, cold outreach, and managing the full sales cycle
- A consistent track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, and prior experience managing relationships with VP-and C-level executives
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Experience working in retail, commerce or marketplace industries strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks. The base pay range for this position is $93,000 - $129,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
