This is a hybrid position requiring two days in office in either our SF or NYC office. 

About the Role:

As a Product Manager for our Merchandising product team, you will be pivotal in enabling the growth of visitors and optimizing the presentation of Taskrabbit services and categories, directly impacting visits and overall booking conversion. You will report to the Director of Product, Growth and focus on driving measurable outcomes related to high-priority OKRs and product strategy.

The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in product execution within an online marketplace or e-commerce environment, coupled with a strong UX instinct and a data-driven approach. They will have demonstrated expertise in SEO, online merchandising, A/B testing, and fostering effective collaboration with marketing and business operations teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.

What You'll Work On: 

  • ​​Lead the definition, strategy, and execution of key merchandising features from concept to launch.
  • Drive the quality execution of key SEO features to enhance organic acquisition.
  • Collaborate extensively with Marketing, Globalization, and Biz Ops teams to align product efforts with business opportunities.
  • Drive rapid experimentation and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and optimize merchandising effectiveness.
  • Utilize product analytics to uncover insights, measure performance, and inform iterative improvements.
  • Champion user experience, ensuring merchandising flows are intuitive and align with best practices.
  • Own the business outcomes related to increasing intentful visitors and enabling growth capabilities.

Your Areas of Expertise: 

  • You have a minimum of 3 years in the product management field. 
  • You have at least 1+ years of direct experience in merchandising, SEO, or marketplaces.
  • You're an excellent collaborator who considers stakeholder input and business objectives to create a clear action plan, making and communicating trade-off decisions along the way.
  • You’re excellent at execution and consistently get things done, removing roadblocks and rolling up your sleeves whenever necessary to deliver value for our customers.
  • You are knowledgeable about online merchandising best practices and strategies.
  • You are familiar with SEO best practices, and maybe even understand GEO.
  • You are proficient with A/B testing tools and methodologies and have a strong command of product data analytics tools and techniques.
  • You value clarity in communication and demonstrate that through writing and verbal communication.

Compensation & Benefits: 

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable.  total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $134,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
