ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tax Resolution Case Manager plays a key role in supporting our clients through the IRS resolution process. You’ll work closely with our Tax Professionals, including Enrolled Agents, to gather documentation, maintain communication, and guide clients through each phase of their case. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with people, and is passionate about helping individuals resolve their tax challenges.

HOW YOU'LL BE REWARDED

Base Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (full-time, 40 hours per week)

Monthly Bonus: Average bonus potential of $800 - $1,200
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Client Communication & Support

Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the IRS resolution process

Educate clients on case progress, deadlines, and documentation requirements

Provide regular updates and deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy
Documentation & Intake Coordination

Collect IRS-related documents such as income verification, expense records, and financial disclosures

Review submitted materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with case needs

Follow up on any missing information and help clients stay on track
Case Management & Collaboration

Work closely with Enrolled Agents and Tax Professionals to ensure all documentation is in place for case analysis and negotiation

Monitor case timelines and update case status and notes in the CRM

Flag any issues or urgent matters to the Tax Professional for review
Administrative Support

Assist in preparing engagement letters, authorization forms (e.g., 8821, 2848), and other required IRS documents

Track client submissions and manage deadlines to prevent processing delays

Ensure all client records are well-organized and up to date within our systems
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

Prior experience in case management, loan processing, financial services, or administrative roles; tax resolution or IRS experience is a big plus

Strong communication skills — both written and verbal

Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency with CRM software; experience with tax or accounting platforms is a bonus

Comfortable navigating IRS forms and terminology (or eager to learn!)

A team-first attitude with a high level of accountability and follow-through

Passion for providing exceptional service to clients under financial stress
