Position Summary: Unrivaled Sports is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Summer Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions within a growing organization. You will work closely with our HR team to support a wide range of activities, including recruitment, employee onboarding, HR compliance, payroll, and employee engagement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist with job postings on various platforms and manage applicant tracking systems.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support employer branding efforts through social media and outreach.

Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Conduct onboarding activities including hiring candidates into ADP, ensuring completion of new hire documents (electronically), such as I-9 and E-Verify.
  • Assist with HR orientation presentations both in terms of presenting the information and updating the content, format, and overall employee experience.
  • Assist with offboarding processes, including return of company equipment and documentation.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
  • Assist with HR compliance, including preparing reports and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
  • Organize and maintain HR documentation, such as policies and procedures.

Employee Engagement:

  • Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys or focus groups.

Special Projects:

  • Work on ad-hoc HR projects, including DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives, HR analytics, and process improvement.
  • Research HR best practices and propose recommendations for implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
