We're hiring a Regulatory Content Lead who will play a pivotal role in building and managing a high-performing team of regulatory data analysts. The position is ideal for a dynamic leader with expertise in data aggregation and regulatory frameworks, who can translate regulatory regimes into actionable data models and workflows. The ideal candidate is adept at mentoring analysts, defining processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality regulatory intelligence through SaaS products.

Job Responsibilities

The Regulatory Content Lead will have the following responsibilities:

Regulatory Data Operations

  • Oversee the identification, review, and structuring of regulatory documents from jurisdictions worldwide, with a focus on US, European, and Asian regimes.
  • Guide the team in interpreting legal frameworks and translating them into structured data and metadata.
  • Stay current on global regulatory trends, emerging topics, and technology in the compliance field.
  • Design and implement scalable processes for regulatory content ingestion, analysis, and delivery.
  • Ensure high standards for data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Establish and enforce effective quality control and data validation protocols.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Act as a bridge between the analyst team and engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements for technical teams, supporting API design, data models, and workflow automation.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of regulatory data analysts.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and hands-on guidance
  • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular feedback sessions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate and implement new technology, tools, methods, and best practices for regulatory intelligence and data management.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Process and store sensitive information, including PII, in accordance with Information Management System policies. Promptly report potential security incidents to the Information Technology team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Regulatory Content Lead position will possess the following:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Law, Public Policy, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • Experience: 5+ years’ experience in regulatory intelligence, legal data analysis, or compliance, at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of regulatory content publication and legal frameworks (especially US/EU).
    • Experience managing and scaling analysis, research, or compliance teams.
    • Deep analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, especially in interpreting legal structures and designing data schemas.
    • Familiarity with APIs, data validation techniques, and digital content ingestion workflows. Experience with data aggregation and harmonization at scale is a big plus.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a SaaS environment, working with technical teams to operationalize regulatory requirements.

Location: Remote | If local to Washington, DC, the role will be Hybrid

Compensation: $68,500 to $72,000 annualized
