About the Data Solutions Team

The Data Solution pod is the technical unit within Innovation responsible for leveraging Teads'publisher integrations and network scale to provide targeting solutions and measurable business outcomes. We build the infrastructure that unifies fragmented signals from the "Open Internet" into actionable data about the customer journey for our SSPs and internal Buying Engines.

The team is a senior-heavy center of expertise handling high-scale production delivery across three strategic pillars:

• Identity: The foundation linking user journeys across Mobile, Desktop, and CTV.
• Measurement: The full-stack engine proving outcomes (Attention, Sales Uplift, Brand uplift).
• Targeting: The segmentation and planning system for audience activation in a cross screen environment and cross buying engines.

What will you do?

As a Data Engineer, you will be the backbone of our data infrastructure. Your mission is to build, scale, and maintain the high-performance pipelines that power our entire product ecosystem. You will move away from simple reporting to focus on system reliability, scalability, and real-time processing.

• Architecture & Scalability: Design and scale the data pipelines responsible for building our Identity Graph, ensuring they can handle massive volumes with low latency.
• Backend Development: Build robust services and data processors using Scala and Go.
• Real-time Streaming: Architect and manage event-driven streams using Kafka to ensure seamless data flow across our systems.
• Data Modeling & Storage: Optimize our BigQuery environment and ensure that our storage strategy aligns with high-performance backend requirements.
• System Reliability: Implement rigorous testing and monitoring to ensure the "industrial-grade" quality of our data flows.

What will you bring to the team?

• Experience: Strong experience in Backend Engineering or Data Engineering, with a proven track record of deploying production-grade pipelines.
• Technical Stack:
• Strong mastery of one programing language , scala or go would be a plus
• Hands on experience with Kafka, Redpanda, Aerospike, C* or any big data production ready component
• Deep understanding of SQL and cloud data warehouses like BigQuery.
• Engineering Mindset: You are obsessed with performance, code quality (CI/CD), and system architecture.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and optimize data bottlenecks.
• Collaboration: Even if you are tech-heavy, you are an active listener and a dialogue facilitator. You know how to explain your architectural decisions and enjoy sharing your technical knowledge with the team.
