Regional Sales

Clinton, Maryland, United States

Join Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment as a Regional Sales Manager for our Southern Maryland Territory

If you’ve built your career selling heavy equipment, this is your moment to take it to new heights.

At Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment, we provide the top-of-the-line trucks and heavy equipment that keep communities moving—think clean streets, flowing water, rock-solid infrastructure, and everything in between.
Now imagine being the person behind the equipment that makes it all happen…

Compensation:

First things first. You’ll start with a base salary and guaranteed draw totaling up to $120K in your first year. From there, the sky’s the limit—with UNCAPPED commission, current reps average $250K+ annually. Add on a company vehicle (valued at $17K), comprehensive benefits, and professional development opportunities, we’ve got you covered.

A Day in the Life:

As a Regional Sales Manager for Southern Maryland, you’ll be the trusted partner for municipalities and private companies in your territory. While you’ll start with some established accounts, the real opportunity lies in forging new relationships and growing your territory to its fullest potential.

Day to day, you’ll be out in the field meeting customers face-to-face, showcasing equipment in action, and finding solutions to their unique challenges. No two days are the same, and you’ll have the freedom to approach your territory without red tape—managing your time and accounts like it’s your own business.

Be the person customers call for everything—even if it’s something you don’t sell—is what will set you apart. It’s about building trust, knowing where to go for answers, and providing solutions that make their lives easier.

Location:

This mobile, remote role serves Southern Maryland. While much of your time will be spent in the field building relationships and growing the business, the connection with your branch will be central to your role. That means you’ll regularly pop in and out of the Clinton, Maryland branch to pick up equipment, demo products, or touch base with the team.

What We’re Looking for in a Regional Sales Manager:

We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in trucks and heavy equipment, and a solid understanding of hydraulics, electronics, and mechanics. You should not only understand how the equipment works but also be able to clearly explain its value and provide impactful solutions.

You’re a relationship-builder at heart, skilled at connecting with customers and making complex equipment feel approachable. Your entrepreneurial mindset will help you take ownership of your territory, manage accounts, prioritize your time, and drive success.

Physically, you need to be able to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach frequently, and lift and move over 50 lbs. without assistance. You'll also need to get in and out of various vehicles independently.

A clean driving record is required, and you must be willing to obtain a CDL license within six months (company-sponsored) and pass a DOT physical, including a drug screening.

Benefits That Set Us Apart:

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage & Paid Time Off
Your well-being matters to us. Enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with generous paid time off to keep you healthy and refreshed.
  • Training, Professional Development & Career Growth

Gear up for success and join Team MATE!

This isn’t just another sales job. At Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment, you’ll work with a team that values what we do—empowering our customers with quality equipment and service solutions that enable them to focus on their business, not their equipment.

You’ll also get to play with big toys (think $400K refuse collection vehicles), solve real problems, and grow your career in a recession-proof industry.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
