Join Our Team as a Service Writer – Compactor Division

Are you detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a knack for organization? We’re looking for a dedicated and driven Service Writer to join our expanding Compactor team. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable managing schedules, and sharp in attention to detail—especially in professional communication and email etiquette.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all compactor service needs—communicating quotes, updating customers, and documenting complaints professionally
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to schedule diagnostics, identify repairs, and confirm completed work
  • Manage customer records, service quotes, work orders, parts ordering, technician scheduling, and warranty claims
  • Handle additional administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing documents, and monitoring maintenance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Computer literacy is required, including 3-4 years of Microsoft Office experience
  • Dealer Management System experience is a plus
  • Schedule management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional email etiquette with strong attention to detail and grammar
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or GED (mechanical experience is a plus, but not required)
