At Mid-Atlantic, you’ll handle the full welding and fabrication process—from assessing the job and preparing materials to welding, grinding, finishing, and getting the equipment ready to return to service. You’ll work on a variety of projects where your experience and craftsmanship make a visible difference.

As a Welder, you will:

  • Weld, repair, and fabricate used equipment as needed
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace
  • Take initiative and complete tasks independently
  • Perform other welding-related tasks as assigned

What qualifications are we looking for?

  • Strong hands-on welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience repairing used equipment
  • Must have your own tools, including a welding helmet
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance
  • Must pass a DOT physical including drug screening
  • Comfortable working in small or tight spaces

Communication Requirements:

  • This position requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Effective communication is necessary to understand and follow safety procedures and instructions, communicate with customers and team members, and complete required job-related documentation.
