A Senior UX/UI Developer is a creative and technically skilled professional responsible for designing, prototyping, and optimizing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. This role bridges the gap between users, design, and development, ensuring digital products are visually appealing, intuitive, and accessible. The UX/UI Developer collaborates with cross-functional teams, conducts user research, and applies best practices in usability and design systems to deliver exceptional user experiences that drive business value. The position is for a senior level, requiring over 5 years of tech experience, and is open to candidates in Latin America within GMT-2, -3, or -4 time zones, with a B2+ English level.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype attractive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

- Collaborate closely with frontend and backend developers, as well as product managers, to transform requirements into high-impact digital experiences.

- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to iterate and improve products.

- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable component libraries (Figma, Storybook, etc.).

- Ensure visual consistency and accessibility (WCAG) across all products.

- Participate in ideation sessions, sprint plannings, and agile reviews.

- Document flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to facilitate team communication.

 

Required qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for digital products. Experience leading design projects and collaborating with development teams is also required.

Language: Excellent visual and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

 

Skills required
- Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

- Experience designing responsive and mobile-first interfaces.

- Strong knowledge of UX principles, information architecture, and user-centered design.

- Ability to create interactive prototypes and perform efficient handoff to development.

- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue, and an understanding of technical constraints.

- Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
