Procurement Senior Manager

United States - Remote

Tebra only initiates contact with candidates via email from an official Tebra email address (@tebra.com, @patientpop.com, or @kareo.com) or through our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse. We will only ask you to provide sensitive personal information through our official application portal — not via social media or text message. We do not conduct interviews via instant messaging.

About the Role

Tebra is looking for a Senior Manager of Procurement to own the full procurement lifecycle for a ~$200M healthcare SaaS company. This is a single-owner role with real scope -- you will manage a vendor portfolio of significant scale, including over $5M in contracts renewing in the next six months alone, across categories that span SaaS, cloud infrastructure, security, and professional services.

You will report to the VP of Accounting and work closely with Legal, Finance, IT Security, and business leaders across the company. The role sits at the intersection of operational discipline and commercial judgment. You are not coordinating procurement -- you are running it.

The right candidate is comfortable owning a complex vendor portfolio largely independently, knows how to move a deal through security, legal, and finance approvals without losing momentum, and brings genuine enthusiasm for using AI and automation to make the function faster and smarter.

Your Area of Focus

Procurement Process Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end procurement workflow: intake, vendor selection, negotiation, compliance review, contract execution, and repository management.
  • Manage daily requisition approvals in Coupa, ensuring deals move efficiently through security, legal, and finance checkpoints without getting stuck.
  • Maintain Productiv as the contract repository of record; ensure all executed contracts are uploaded and metadata is current.
  • Run a proactive renewal calendar -- no contract auto-renews without a deliberate keep / renegotiate / exit decision made in advance.

Vendor Negotiations

  • Lead commercial negotiations on SaaS, PaaS, cloud infrastructure, hardware, and facilities contracts -- pricing, terms, SOWs, and Master Agreements.
  • Drive cost reduction through vendor consolidation, volume discount negotiations, and contract restructuring. The renewal pipeline is large and the savings opportunity is real.
  • Partner with Legal on redlines and final review; your job is to arrive at Legal with commercial terms already locked, not to use Legal as the negotiation team.
  • Manage vendor relationships through renewal cycles and escalate risks to Finance and Legal leadership as needed.

Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary procurement interface for department heads -- guide them through vendor selection, intake, and compliance requirements so they can focus on their core work.
  • Support business owners on active negotiations where the relationship or complexity warrants procurement involvement; step back where business owners can own the commercial relationship directly.
  • Coordinate compliance reviews -- collect required documentation from vendors and route through the appropriate approval channels.

Spend Intelligence and Reporting

  • Own SaaS spend data in Productiv and Coupa; produce regular reporting for Finance leadership on vendor spend, renewal exposure, consolidation opportunities, and realized savings.
  • Identify and flag overlapping or underutilized vendor contracts proactively -- do not wait to be asked.
  • Provide input to the rolling forecast process on procurement-driven OPEX timing and vendor consolidation savings.

Process and AI Optimization

  • Audit existing procurement workflows and identify friction points -- approvals that stall, handoffs that break, renewals that sneak up.
  • Lead the adoption of AI and automation tools to accelerate procurement operations -- contract review, renewal tracking, spend analysis.
  • Ensure process documentation is current and the procurement policy is enforced consistently across the company.

Your Professional Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of procurement experience in a SaaS or technology company environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading and closing commercial negotiations on SaaS, cloud, and services contracts -- you have gotten deals done, not just coordinated them.
  • Experience managing the full procurement compliance stack: IT security review, legal redlines, finance approvals, and signature workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with spend management platforms; Coupa and Productiv experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to drive vendor consolidation and cost savings with measurable results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication -- you can represent Tebra's position clearly in vendor negotiations and give Finance leadership a clean read on spend and risk.
  • Comfortable working independently in a lean structure where you own outcomes, not just tasks.

Strong plus:

  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate procurement workflows: contract review, renewal tracking, spend analysis, vendor research.
  • Background supporting a PE-backed company where cost discipline and process rigor are expected, not optional.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-adjacent vendor compliance requirements in a healthcare technology environment.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
