Senior Talent Sourcer

The Role
At TechGrove by Banyan Software, we help build and scale exceptional software businesses by providing world-class talent and operational support across Banyan’s global portfolio. The Sourcer supports recruiting and portfolio hiring efforts across multiple global regions, including North America, Europe, ANZ, and India, by identifying, engaging, and qualifying top talent for a wide range of technical, leadership, and business-critical roles.
Working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, operating company leaders, and the broader Talent Acquisition team, this individual will build strong talent pipelines, provide market intelligence, influence hiring strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This role plays a key part in helping TechGrove and Banyan attract world-class talent across their global portfolio of software businesses.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, and passionate about global talent acquisition, talent mapping, sourcing strategy, and labor market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders across North America, Europe, ANZ, and India to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
- Build and execute sourcing plans for technical, leadership, and niche roles across multiple geographies and talent markets.
- Identify, engage, and nurture passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, talent communities, networking, and direct outreach.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments and qualification conversations to evaluate skills, experience, motivation, and alignment with role requirements.
- Develop talent maps, competitor analysis, and market research to support hiring decisions and workforce planning.
- Provide ongoing talent market insights, compensation benchmarks, location recommendations, and availability trends to recruiters and hiring leaders.
- Maintain accurate candidate and sourcing activity records within ATS and CRM platforms.
- Partner with recruiters to improve pipeline conversion, candidate engagement, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Support global hiring initiatives, process improvements, and the adoption of sourcing tools, AI solutions, and recruiting technologies.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts and represent TechGrove by Banyan Software and its portfolio companies professionally across candidate interactions.
- Collaborate with TA leadership on strategic hiring projects and talent acquisition initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications for Success
- 8+ years of experience in sourcing, talent research, or full-cycle recruiting within software, technology, SaaS, or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience supporting hiring across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, ANZ, and/or India.
- Strong expertise in identifying and engaging passive talent for technical, leadership, and hard-to-fill positions.
- Experience creating talent maps, market intelligence reports, compensation analysis, and sourcing recommendations.
- Strong understanding of regional talent markets, hiring trends, and recruiting practices across different geographies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions through data and market insights.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Seek, job boards, talent intelligence platforms, ATS, and CRM systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to improve sourcing effectiveness.
- Growth-oriented, collaborative, and interested in leveraging AI and technology to improve recruiting outcomes.
- Experience supporting remote and distributed global teams is strongly preferred.
Work Location & Schedule
- Work Location: Chennai or Bengaluru
- Work Type: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
- Working Hours: Primarily 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST, with flexibility required to support hiring activities across North America, Europe, ANZ, and India.
- Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across multiple time zones and adjusting schedules when business needs require.
