We are looking for a Cloud Architect to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience.

Responsibility
- Monitoring & Observability:
- Implement and configure Datadog and Grafana for comprehensive monitoring and visualization of system metrics.
- Develop robust alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Ensure high observability by integrating monitoring tools with our applications and infrastructure.
- CI/CD:
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, EKS, and Helm to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Optimize build times and deployment frequency to accelerate development cycles.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for code quality, security, and compliance.
- Cloud Infrastructure:
- Design and architect the migration of our Azure infrastructure to AWS, leveraging best practices and cloud-native technologies.
- Manage and optimize our AWS and Azure environments, including cost management, resource allocation, and security.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Incident Management:
- Implement and manage incident response processes to ensure efficient detection, response, and resolution of incidents.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain incident response documentation and conduct regular drills to improve readiness.
- Migration:
- Lead the migration of ECS services to EKS, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Optimize EKS clusters for performance and scalability.
- Implement best practices for container security and management.
- CDN Management:
- Manage and optimize our Akamai CDN solution to deliver content efficiently and reliably.
- Configure CDN settings for caching, compression, and security.
- Monitor CDN performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Technology Stack:
- Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and automation.
- Experience with Mux Enterprise, including reporting, monitoring, and alerting.
- Familiarity with other relevant technologies and tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and their services.
- Strong expertise in Python or Go Lang
- Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub Actions, EKS, Helm).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
