NetSuite Implementation & Integration Data Engineer - Contract

The Role: 

We are seeking a NetSuite Implementation & Integration Data Engineer to architect, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines, integrations, and analytics solutions with a particular focus on the NetSuite platform. In this hybrid position, you’ll primarily drive end-to-end data engineering efforts—designing and optimizing data flows, integrating NetSuite with internal and external systems, and enabling analytics across the business. You’ll also manage key NetSuite configurations and enhancements to support business processes.

Data Engineering & Integration:

• Architect and develop scalable data pipelines for seamless data movement between NetSuite and other enterprise systems (including ERPs, CRMs, and SaaS applications).
• Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning use cases.
• Integrate NetSuite data with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Redshift), ensuring high data quality, consistency, and security.
• Build API-based integrations, leveraging REST/SOAP, to automate workflows and enable real-time or batch data synchronization.
• Collaborate with analytics, finance, and operations teams to design analytical models, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SuiteAnalytics.
• Optimize data storage, transformation, and retrieval for analytics and operational needs.
• Develop scripts and code (Python, SQL, shell scripting) for advanced data manipulation and process automation.

NetSuite Implementation & Support

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data integration roles.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining data pipelines using ETL tools or custom scripts.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data modeling, analysis, and transformation.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or shell scripting; Spark experience a plus.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with other applications via SuiteTalk, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics stacks such as AWS (S3, Redshift, EMR), Snowflake, or similar.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SuiteAnalytics).
• English proficiency required.

Nice to Have

• NetSuite certifications (Administrator, SuiteFoundation, SuiteAnalytics).
• Experience with machine learning workflows and model integration within data pipelines.
• Knowledge of SaaS architecture and application development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
